The Virginia Theatre Festival is getting ready to celebrate its 50th Anniversary year in a big way this summer! The 2024 Season will feature 50 Years and Counting: A Musical Revue, Little Shop of Horrors, and The 39 Steps.
Nothing goes better together with an anniversary than a family reunion! That’s why we’re looking forward to welcoming Virginia Theatre Festival alumni for a special reunion event this summer. The event will be held during the run of 50 Years and Counting: A Musical Revue. Now in its 50th year, the Virginia Theatre Festival, a program of the University of Virginia, is the Commonwealth’s longest-running professional summer theatre company. Founded in 1974, VTF treats local and regional audiences to some of the world’s most renowned plays and musicals while also highlighting the voices of new playwrights and composers.
